''Poet Lore'' is an English-language literary magazine based in Bethesda, Maryland. Writer's Center, currently publishes Poet Lore in semi-annual installments, exhibiting poetry both by established writers and by those breaking into print. ''Poet Lore'' also prints reviews of new poetry books and books about poetry and poets.

The magazine originally focused on publishing European poets and dramatists. Over the years they have published the works of John Balaban, Paul Bourget, Anton Chekhov, Chad Davidson, Carolyn Forché, Alice Fulton, Sandra Gilbert, Maxim Gorky, Joseph Harrison, Gerhart Hauptmann, Philip Heldrich, Henrik Ibsen, Sean Mac Falls, Carl Phillips, Lee Scrivner, August Strindberg, Rabindranath Tagore, and Jeff Worley.
